By making an Enduring Power of Attorney, you prepare for a time when you may no longer be able to manage your own affairs.
By making this decision now, you give yourself the opportunity to decide who
you would want to deal with your financial issues, saving you and your family
a great deal of future stress, difficulty and expense.
Many people choose to make an Enduring Power of Attorney at the same time as
they make a Will, so assuring their own and their family’s future.
New Lasting Powers of Attorney are due to be introduced in October 2007 but existing Enduring Powers of Attorney will still be valid after that time.
