New Probate HelpDesk Service Launched
We have launched a brand new telephone advice service-the Probate HelpDesk. It is one of the first of its kind in the country.
George Persson is one of the lawyers in our Wills Trusts and Estates team. George explains the idea behind the service.
‘We have looked carefully at what our clients actually want. We are simply responding to this need. Well over half a million people die each year in England and Wales. Even when expected, death is always a shock. When someone close to you dies, anyone would rightly want to spend time with the family, close relatives and friends. However, regardless of whether or not a Will exists, there still remains the necessary legalities to sort out. This is where we can help.’
‘The whole idea of the service is to make the law more accessible to everyone. There are no call-handlers sitting in a warehouse, the call will be picked up one of our specialist lawyers. We are therefore able to take away much of the strain, stress and frustration,’ says George. ‘The new HelpDesk service explains what needs to be done. We explain the process, giving peace of mind so that a family can then concentrate on supporting each other and not worrying about the legal process.
