The Right Persson For The Job
10 May 2010
We are extremely pleased to announce that George Persson has this week joined our Wills, Trusts and Estates team. George, aged 32, joins us from his previous firm where he was both a partner and head of department. George advises on matters ranging from wills, powers of attorney and probate to the creation of detailed trust settlements and provision of tax mitigation advice. However, George is very much the ‘new breed’ of private client lawyer whose professional motivation is the unique opportunity given to him to provide security and peace of mind for his clients and their families. ‘Joining Thatcher & Hallam is the perfect career move for me,’ says George. ‘The firm has core traditional values yet is progressive in outlook and vision. This is the sort of law practice that I want to be part of.’ George will also become a key member of our specialist Later Life Care Funding Team, where he will be advising on care fees and related elderly client matters, including the challenging of local authority assessments together with obtaining NHS continuing care. ‘We are delighted to have a lawyer of George’s calibre joining us,’ says Managing Partner Grahame Macaulay. ‘George’s appointment is part of our continuing strategy of attracting the best and the brightest lawyers to our team.’
