Pat Powell has been a solicitor for some 30 years.
Pat has spent most of her professional life at Thatcher & Hallam. She has enormous expertise and experience in the preparation of wills and the administration of estates. She also specialises in dealing with Lasting Powers of Attorney and receivership applications to the Public Guardian Office.
Pat often sees clients at times of bereavement, stress or grief. “This is where special skills are required,” says Pat. “As a solicitor I can tell the client what the necessary legal requirements are. However, as an experienced solicitor I aim to be to be supportive and to comfort and make sure that the client fully understands what is going on, particularly at a time when they may feel vulnerable. Basically, I try to make the whole process substantially easier for the client.”
