William Edwards is a determined and adept family lawyer. William heads the Family Law team at Thatcher & Hallam, bringing with him a wealth of experience, having practised family law in excess of 25 years.
He tackles issues as varied as divorce and children through to complex high net worth financial disputes involving pensions and company ownership within the family.
William is regarded very much as a lawyer with a modern approach to family law. “A fight in court can be both costly and acrimonious,” says William. “Clients should be in no doubt that their interests will be vigorously and robustly defended at any court hearing, but a contested court hearing must be treated very much as a last resort.” As such, William is keen to promote the benefits of both mediation and collaborative law.
William’s experience is reflected in his membership of The Law Society’s Family Law Panel as well as Resolution (formerly the Solicitors’ Family Law Association).
